Ethica Corporate Finance advised Opera SGR in the disposal of a majority stake in Emu Group, Italian leader in outdoor furniture, to industrial holding Finconcordia S.p.A., attributable to Biscarini family, and to long-standing company partners.

Emu, founded in 1951 by Biscarini family, is a leading European player, manufacturing high range outdoor and garden furniture for B2B and B2C segments.

In 2011, Opera acquired Emu, supporting internationalization process as well as its brand awareness throughout European countries.
In 2016, Emu reports a turnover of 30€M, of which more than 65% in foreign markets, with approximately 120 employees.
