The Sorin Group is a world-leading multinational company in the field of medical devices for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases; it develops produces and distributes medical technologies for cardiac surgery and treatment of heart rhythm disorders.

The non-repayable grant provided by the Emilia Romagna Region is intended to support R&D projects in Italy and France related to the development, from pre-clinical to clinical studies, of new products and the improvement of existing ones, for the period 2014-2016.
