Ethica Group alongside in finalizing the partnership with Ferrarelle for the rPET plant in Presenzano
Ethica Group, with the M&A Advisory team, assisted Aloxe, an independent European leader in the production of recycled PET, supported by Ara Partners – an American fund with a focus on decarbonisation – in the creation of the partnership with Ferrarelle for the implementation of new rPET technologies in Presenzano plant (Caserta), which will pass under the control of Aloxe.
This agreement sanctions the entry inItaly of Aloxe and represents a fundamental step in the path – already started with important investments in France and Poland – of creating an independent player of reference in Europe in the rPET sector for food & beverage, cosmetics and the pharma: Aloxe plans to manage over 120,000 tons of plastics in Europe by 2024.
