Ethica Group, with its Debt Advisory team, assisted Azimut Benetti in obtaining non-repayable grants and a subsidized loan from the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy.
Azimut Benetti Group is the world’s largest manufacturer of luxury yachts from 10 to 100 meters in length, crafted from composite materials, aluminum, and steel, with over 45 models currently in production.
Founded in 1969, the Group employs over 2,000 people and operates five Italian shipyards and a production site in Brazil.
The incentives, granted as part of the “Avvisi per la selezione di iniziative imprenditoriali nei territori della Regione Toscana interessati dagli eventi alluvionali e nel territorio dell’area di crisi industriale complessa di Livorno” pursuant to Law 181/89, are intended to support a comprehensive environmental protection investment program that Azimut Benetti will implement over the three-year period 2025-2027 at its Viareggio and Livorno shipyards. The aim is to make production processes increasingly sustainable and, at the same time, promote employment growth.
