Ethica Debt Advisory advised Prysmian SpA, a global player in the energy and telecommunications cables and systems sector, in obtaining a loan with a non-repayable grant provided by the European Commission under the VII Framework Program for Research and Technological Development.
Prysmian is a global player specialized in the production of cables and systems for energy and telecommunications.
The Group leverages worldwide on 17 R&D centres in Europe, North and South America and Asia, employing 550 researchers and technicians, with more than 5.600 patents.
The financing is mainly intended to support R&D projects across 6 countries: France, Great Britain, Holland, Spain, Germany and Italy. R&D headquarter is located in Italy, where a significant part of the resources is destined, as well as some excellent plants for optical fibres and for submarine cables and systems for energy transmission.
