Ethica Corporate Finance advised the Carraro Group in the sale of a majority stake of Elettronica Santerno

Ethica Corporate Finance advised the Carraro Group (listed on the main segment of Italian Stock Exchange since 1995) in the sale of 51% of Elettronica Santerno to Enertronica.

Elettronica Santerno is a company specialized in power electronics, which entered the group perimeter in 2006 and become in few years a market leader in the inverter sector for photovoltaic applications.

Enertronica S.p.A. is a company operating in the renewable energy sector and in the design and production of electromechanical systems (listed on the Italian Stock Exchange – AIM Italia). With the incorporation of Elettronica Santerno, the Enertronica Group becomes one of the first national and international operators in the O&M sector with over 1.5GW of managed or monitored plants and a target of reaching 2GW by 2017.

Enrico Carraro, Chairman of the Group, commented: “With the disposal of Santerno from the consolidation perimeter of the Group, we completed our reorganization and focus on the core business. Simultaneously, we will revamp R&D activities, having accrued also internal skills in the electronics at the service of mechanics, strategically relevant to support the new generation transmissions”.
