Ethica Corporate Finance advised the Carraro Group in the sale of MiniGears to Finatem, a German private equity fund.

With offices in Padua and Suzhou (China), MiniGears is specialized in the production and marketing of small, mainly sintered gears, for different sectors: from automotive to professional gardening, to power tools.

Enrico Carraro, Chairman of the Group, said: “For the Group, this is an important step towards further focusing on the core business. In setting up this transaction, we have chosen an industrial partner that could guarantee business continuity and growth prospects. The future of MiniGears together with the German company Herzog, also controlled by Finatem, with strong expertise in gear, will allow the two plants in Padua and Suzhou to find new areas of development in technological sectors similar to their own, within markets of differentiated and complementary applications”.
