Ethica Group with Socotec Italia in the acquisition of IMG

Ethica Group, with the M&A Advisory team, assisted Socotec Italia in the acquisition of IMG, a company specialized in complex monitoring systems in the geotechnical and structural fields.

Established in Rome in 2004, IMG, which now has about 50 geologists and senior engineers, offers consultancy in the fields of geology, geological engineering, hydrogeology and field geophysics.

The acquisition of IMG strengthens Socotec Italia’s team of 700 professionals, in particular for the design, supply and installation of complex geotechnical and infrastructural monitoring devices, as well as the automation of data processing and dissemination through the use of the DDS (Data Dissemination System) a customizable Web-GIS system developed by the company.
