Ethica Group assisted, with the M&A Advisory team, the shareholders of MC2 Saint Barth, a leading Italian brand in the holidaywear segment, in the creation of a partnership with Peninsula, an international private equity fund, which will invest with a minority stake. In the operation, alongside Peninsula, the Percassi Group will also invest, making its ten-year experience in the retail world available to further accelerate the growth project.
Founded in 2003, MC2 Saint Barth is today an international brand recognized in the holidaywear segment. The company, born with a clear focus on men’s beachwear, over the years has managed to diversify its offer by first implementing women’s and children’s garments and finally successfully launching the first winter collection in 2018.
The strategic partnership aims to leverage the strength of the MC2 Saint Barth brand – today one of the most successful and fastest growing European names in the fashion scene – and the international network and specific experience of Peninsula and its partners in the sector, to accelerate the growth of the brand globally.
