Ethica Debt Advisory advised Ansaldo Nucleare in obtaining a subsidized loan and a non-repayable grant from the Ministry of Economic Development

Ansaldo Nucleare, controlled by Ansaldo Energia, executes and supplies in Italy and abroad projects and services to the industry related to the production of electronuclear energy and decommissioning, with more than 50 years of experience in the nuclear sector.

The financing of the Ministry of Economic Development, consisting of a subsidized loan and a non-repayable grant, is aimed at supporting an industrial research and experimental development program scheduled for the 2018-2020. The subsidy was granted on the Sustainable Growth Fund pursuant the Sustainable Industry Call, the Legislative Decree no. of October 15, 2014.

The project will allow the company to acquire new knowledge necessary for the development of an integrated technology for the treatment and conditioning, for the purpose of disposal, of radioactive waste from the dismantling of nuclear plants.
