Ethica Corporate Finance advised the shareholder of Phyto Garda in the sale of 100% to Specchiasol, portfolio company of Whitebridge Investments.

Phyto Garda®, founded in 2003 by Alessandro Moglia, is engaged in the research and distribution of food supplements, medical devices and cosmetics through the pharmacy channel. The main product lines encompass: Sanagol® – propoli-based products, Fermentix® – probiotics – and Vitadyn® – tonics.

Specchiasol is an Italian distributor of own-branded food supplements and medical devices through the pharmacy and herbalist channels, with a capillary presence both in Italy and abroad. The company boasts a wide portfolio of 360 products and relies on 54 brands. In 2020 Whitebridge Investments acquired the company from the founding family.

The deal will reinforce the Group incorporated through the recent acquisition of Named S.p.A. by Specchiasol. The new entity will reach ca. €100 mln revenues with ca. 300 representatives.
