Ethica Group with Guaresi in the acquisition of Hortech

Ethica Group, with the M&A and Debt Advisory teams, assisted Guaresi, world leader in the design, production and marketing of tomato harvesting machines for canning and processing industry, already in Hyle Capital Partners portfolio since 2022, in the acquisition of Hortech, an Italian company specialized in the design and construction of machinery for soil preparation, seeding-transplanting and harvesting of horticultural products in open fields and greenhouses.

This transaction is part of the broader “Finance for Food One” project by Hyle Capital Partners which, through a build-up strategy started with the acquisition of Guaresi, continued with Grim – a company specialized in design and production of sprayers for crop protection – and now continued with Hortech, pursues the creation of a leading Italian group of agricultural machinery able, in the next few years, to penetrate new foreign markets and achieve a turnover of over €60 million.
