Ethica Corporate Finance advised the shareholders of “International Chips Srl” and “C. Besati & C. S.r.l” in the sale of the two companies to Gruppo Surfaces

Founded in 1975 in Domodossola (Verbania), International Chips S.r.l. is a leading manufacturer of abrasive products for polishing and mass-finishing applications. A major consolidation of its market position occurred in 2006, when it spawned the ECOS system; such system allows customers to attain optimal results avoiding the use of chemicals and water. As a matter of fact, International Chips is currently the only manufacturer of this system. Finally, International Chips has a long-lasting commercial collaboration with C. Besati.

Ethica Corporate Finance advised the shareholders of International Chips S.r.l. and C. Besati & C. S.r.l. in the sale of the two companies to Surfaces, a leading player in the market for abrasive products for polishing and mass-finishing applications. Surfaces, which was recently acquired by the French fund Astorg, is currently one of the largest players in the sector.
